students success stories part1

katie watkins a  standout storm  volleyball player for two  years now  spends her free  time studying  to be a nurse  at  dcc where she say she  applies some  of the concepts  she learned on the court. just  like vollyball nursing can be tough said watkins  a 21 -years- old  who  work  in teams  with her  classmates in problem -based  nursing exercises . l learned that everyone  has different  strengths  and brings  something different to table  l also  learned  that we  have to respect each other

watkins is may 2012 candidate to receive  her  associate  degree in  nursing  .she  hopes to pursue  her  b.s.n. at winston - salem state university  and  eventually   get  her master degree in nursing .

setting educational goals  and working  hard  to achieve  them  brings self -esteem  and  increases self -confidence.  education opens  up many  doors  or   opportunity that  normally  would  not opens  up for people

CHOOSE THE RIGHT :)
